Insu­rers and the Sustaina­bi­lity Trans­for­ma­tion - Impul­ses from Brus­sels and Ber­lin

What contribution can the insurance sector make to the transformation towards a sustainable economy and society, and what framework conditions are needed? Experts and decision-makers will discuss this in Berlin on 5 July.

The focus of GDV's Conference on Insurance Regulation will be on topics such as

  • Status quo and perspectives of the revision of Solvency II,
  • regulation concerning implications of climate change,
  • regulatory initiatives for a sustainable financial sector in the EU, and
  • Concepts of the Federal Government for insurance and provision in Germany.

This year's event will be held exclusively in person and will take place at Spreespeicher – a historic granary and trend location at Berlin`s Eastern Harbour, where contemporary design meets industrial charm.
