Life insurance includes insurance policies that serve private old-age provision or cover so-called biometric risks such as death or disability. They are an integral part of the financial security of private households. Every year, life insurers pay out 85 billion euros, and at the same time their benefit obligations grow by 59 billion euros annually. From the moment the contract is concluded, the insured have the certainty of being financially protected - whether the insured event actually occurs or not.
