The German Insurance Association (GDV) represents the interests of the German insurance industry. GDV was founded in Brühl in 1948, and has been based in Berlin since February 1998. Through its public relations work, GDV purposefully addresses opinion-makers in politics, business and society and, more generally, various consumer groups. GDV's internal communications work focuses on providing its member companies with continuous and comprehensive information.
