Insurers as partners in delivery  Copy link

In light of the European Commission’s recent communication on the EU Affordable Housing Plan, we are pleased to host a high-level discussion on the steps needed to accelerate private investment in housing and the role of climate resilience in ensuring long-term affordability and insurability.

Housing has become a critical cross-sectoral challenge, with significant implications for Europe’s competitiveness, social cohesion, and resilience. This lunchtime event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, and institutional investors to explore how private capital, particularly from insurers and other long-term investors, can help address Europe’s housing shortage, while supporting a more climate-resilient built environment.

We are delighted to welcome Kristine Vlagsma (European Commission, DG ENER Housing Taskforce), Remi Collombet (Secretary General, Efficient Buildings Europe), and other leading political and industry stakeholders for an engaging exchange on Europe’s affordable housing agenda.
