• Provides technical expertise to the EU institutions, supporting policy-making with proposals that are workable, proportionate, and support a strong, competitive insurance market, benefiting both industry and consumers.
• Builds dialogue and partnerships with policymakers, industry associations, and stakeholders across Europe.
• Represents the German insurance industry in meetings, consultations, and public hearings at EU level.
• Coordinates with GDV’s Berlin headquarters to align European advocacy with national policy priorities and benefit from the technical expertise of the German colleagues.
