EU Commission Proposals on Product Liability and a New AI Liability Directive - European Commission's "Stakeholder Feedback Process".

On 28.09.2022, the EU Commission published proposals for the adaptation of the Product Liability Directive and for a new AI Liability Directive. From the insurers' point of view, the envisaged facilitations of proof for injured parties go too far. Such simplifications should only apply where systematic gaps in protection can be proven.  (more)
